Motioncrews is an online catalogue and community platform created for film and television Locations Department professionals.
The Site allows registered members to:
Create a verified professional profile featuring their name, title, location, IMDb link, and other relevant details;
Browse and contact other verified members for potential work or collaboration; and
Receive contact requests through Motioncrews where direct details are not published.
By accessing or using Motioncrews, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.
2. Nature of the Service
Motioncrews is an information directory only.
We do not act as an agency or employer, and we do not guarantee that use of the Site will result in any work, engagement, or payment.
All arrangements between members occur outside the Site and at the sole discretion of the parties involved.
3. Eligibility and Verification
To register and maintain a profile on Motioncrews, you must:
Be at least 18 years old;
Work professionally, or have verifiable experience, within the Locations Department of film, television, or commercial production;
Provide a valid IMDb link; and
Have a minimum of three (3) paid, department-related credits (television, film, advertising, or equivalent professional production work).
Profiles that fail to meet these criteria may be declined or removed without refund.
We may request proof via references, if information given does not suffice.
4. Member Accounts and Profiles
Each member may maintain one profile.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate information and for keeping your login credentials secure.
You may edit or delete your profile at any time.
By submitting content to the Site, you grant Motioncrews a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that information for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.
5. Contact Requests and Privacy
Members may choose whether to display their contact details publicly.
If a member hides their contact information, others may submit a contact request via Motioncrews.
Motioncrews will forward the request to the member, who may accept or decline at their discretion.
No personal contact information will be released without explicit consent.
All data is handled in accordance with the Motioncrews Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Misuse or scrape data from the Site;
Post false, defamatory, or inappropriate content;
Misrepresent your experience, credits, or role;
Use Motioncrews for spam or unsolicited marketing; or
Attempt to circumvent access controls or security features.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove any profile that breaches these rules.
7. Verification and Accuracy
Motioncrews may verify IMDb links and credits but does not guarantee accuracy of member-submitted information.
Members are responsible for performing their own due diligence before entering any working arrangement.
Motioncrews is not liable for loss or disputes arising from interactions between members.
8. Fees and Payment
Currently Motioncrews.com operates as a free service to its members.
9. Limitation of Liability
Motioncrews provides the Site on an “as-is” basis.
We make no warranties regarding availability, performance, or suitability for a particular purpose.
We shall not be liable for any loss, cost, or damage arising from use of the Site, including any arrangements between members.
10. Termination
We may remove or suspend any profile at our discretion, particularly where:
Verification criteria are not met;
Content is misleading or inappropriate; or
A complaint or legal concern is raised.
11. Intellectual Property
All branding, layout, and site design belong to Motioncrews or its licensors.
You may not reproduce or reuse the Site content without written permission.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time.
Notice of significant updates will be given via email or posted on the Site.
Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
